Mac OS is a popular OS for apple computers. Installing and using Mac OS is now very simple and requires only a few steps. Insert the CD and double click the install Mac OS icon. You need to read the license and other information and follow the simple instructions on screen. Just by clicking ok in successive steps, you can complete the installation.
You need to select the volume on which the OS has to be installed. This is specified by the destination volume pane. If Mac OS already exists on that pane, your OS will be upgraded. Otherwise, Mac will be installed for the first time. For helping you with installation, you can choose the easy install option. This option will install all the basic functionalities of the OS. If you prefer installing additional components and if you know what you are doing, you can use the custom install option.
After completing installation, the setup assistant opens where you have to specify the usage options. You need to register Mac OS and set up Apple Id and .Mac membership. Setting up primary language is the first step and in the next step, you have to create a user account for logging into the system. Later you can specify the internet connection and install the modem and other required hardware for connecting to the internet.
