Install Motherboards

Installing a motherboard is not very easy because you have to take more care for properly installing it. If installation is not proper, then you have to face problems while using your computer.

The motherboard has to be fitted to the metallic plate inside the computer case. You can unscrew this plate from the case to install the motherboard. The plate as well as the motherboard has holes that have to be matched and screwed. Some holes in the plates and motherboard may not match and you don’t have to worry about that. The motherboard kit will have screws, nuts and washers for fitting the motherboard.

The motherboard has metalized and non-metalized holes that can be identified easily with a metal lining. The non-metalized holes can be screwed to the metallic plate using the washer available with the kit. Place one washer between the nut and motherboard and another one between the motherboard and screw and then screw it up.

The motherboard comes with a foam sheet and this should not be placed between the motherboard and metallic plate. This will prevent ventilation leading to heating up of motherboard. When you screw the motherboard properly, then there will be ample space between motherboard and plate for heat dissipation. Now you have to match case finishing providing spaces for plugs in the motherboard. Next you can install CPU and memory before closing the case.
